Come to Me - Eucharistic Adoration

Starting on Wednesday, August 19th, we will have Eucharistic Adoration at St. John Neumann every Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 7:00. Some acoustic music will be provided to help guide your prayer. NEW TIME AS OF SEPTEMBER 9TH

What is Adoration? We believe that in the Eucharist, Jesus give us His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity - His entire self. Adoration is spending time with Jesus. Being thankful and amazed at what He has done, and bringing our concerns and hopes.

What do you do in Adoration? Some people enjoy structured prayer like the Rosary, with great attention paid to thinking about the 'mysteries'. Some find that reading the words of Jesus in scripture are a good start to the conversation. Lastly, it is important to come ready to listen - this can be really hard to do for an hour, so have a fair expectation of starting with 5 or 10 minutes of silence.

Adoration allows us to re-center our life around our God. For many, its a game-changer.
